It's going to be a super show and a stupendous way to start the summer!
Join us this Saturday, May 23, for our Memorial Weekend Event, featuring our beautiful and varied dancers, our featured guest troupe RAKSZ, the NTMEDA Night Out, concessions by the Johara Dance Ensemble and a variety of vendors!
When I say 'varied dancers', I mean it... this weekend we will have the Kala Mandir Dance Academy East Indian dancers, Candace Bordelon's classic Egyptian style, the Strictly Bellydance Student Performance Company, the fusion flair of Visions In Dance, and much, much more!
We are also very excited to be hosting the North Texas Middle Eastern Dance Association's May 2009 "Night Out." All NTMEDA members get a discount on their Kismet show ticket and NTMEDA representatives will be on hand to answer questions about NTMEDA.
Volunteers make our little world go round and this month the fabulous ladies of Tribal Evolution are helping us! You want to join the fun? Kismet cannot survive without folks who set up chairs, tables, run the box office, help with dancer check-in, and volunteers get in to see the show for free!
